Bindings?

Just picked up the 2012 Line Chronics. Really excited to see what they can do, but I need a set of bindings for them now. I ride pretty hard, 60-40, parks vs. glades and groomers. I'm 5'11 170lbs. The skis are183cm and I'm using them on the east coast. I was thinking Marker Griffons, but I wanted to see if you guys had any ideas. Also, should I go full-centermounted or something a little different because the chronics aren't fully symmetrical.
Any suggestions?

O yeah, forgot to mention, really not trying to break the bank on these guys (under $250)

with your weight you really cant go wrong with anything (just don't buy squires.) These are all some ideal choices.

FKS/Pivit 14

PX 12/14

eh px12s break too easy.

p12s are a good binding. They came out before px and after fks, can usually find them for cheap at a swap or online.

Should I go full-center mount or not? Again, the chronic is not a symmetrical ski, but I ski more park than anything else.

dude what? px12s are solid. For the money they are the best binding

Go center mounted if you want to ski mostly park

eh i have seen to many px12s break compared to other common "park" bindings. (not just the breaks) The dildo on my one pair is comming loose on its track so it prereleases all the time. In my experiences p12s are much more reliable as are fks.

PX12s are heavy, clunky pigs.  Head/Tyrolia will pretty much decimate all.  they are super solid, light, and have the best consistant release values out!

Is there any reason to go for the jester vs. the griffons? they supposedly hold up better, but they are like $100 more expensive.

jesters will be far more durable, and the cool thing about jesters is you don't have to run a high din. I believe they start at 5 din. Which is nice for the lighter guys who want a great bombproof binding.

In your opinion, is the $100 more in price worth it for a quiver ski that's meant to do the whole mountain for a few years?
