Just got 166s

I just got my new skis, and they're 166s. i'm 5 7 and I don't want them to be too small. Are they gonna be good? Because I feel like I should've gotten the 171s. Fuck.

They're up to my mid forehead, it seems like they're gonna be fine.

I'm 5'7 and have 166 AR7's and they are a perfect length, you'll be fine.

inb4 someone tells me that is very unsafe (I know) and that I will most likely kill myself (I probably will) and that it looks retarded (it kind of does)

171's would probably suit you better, obviously depending on what skiing you do. but you're pretty short anyways, so not a huge deal. if you're going to grow any more then definitely should have gone a size bigger

Its 5cms, you would never know the difference. I'm 5'8, and I ride 181s for park. Thats just me though, I like a longer ski

i would say it's way too small im 5'9" and ride a 182 but i guess it's personal preference more than anything if you like um go for it

small skis are for pussies. im about 5'7' and i ride 166.. I absolutely hate kids who claim hard, but then i notice they ride 140's.

My girlfriend is 5'7" and skis 165s. You'll be fine. Besides, the difference between 166cm and 171cm is like the length of my pinky finger, I'm sure either would be fine.

you're forgetting one huge component. Weight. Your height isnt the only factor. If your 6'5 and only weigh 145 (fucking string bean) then you dont need a 181. ya dig?

I don't see any reason to have a park ski that's over your head unless you're hitting huge booters and need the extra stability. I think it's hilarious when I'm at my local hill and see kids who are 5'6" riding 182 skis and can barely control them.

im 5'6 and ride 169 domains (they ride shorter) but the extra length makes me feel more comfortable skiing around. with a short ski i feel like ill fall over if i land to far foreward or back

I'm 5'8" and I ride k2 174s (actually bigger). I ride 179 for powder skis which seems kinda short sometimes. Even when I ride 173s they seem pretty short. You would like a bigger pair (175ish) alot better.

I'm 5'7 and I ride 171's... last year I rode 155's and I really haven't noticed a difference. I feel like people are riding skis way too big for them nowadays. 166 should be fine

im like 5'8 and i ski 171 and 173s but i skied 181s and i liked them alot more. next ski i get defs going to be around 180.
