Air Fare Thread

Had this going for a while in another forum and helped me fly to switzerland round trip for $250...

But alas, I have found another deal and figured I'd share.

It appears that Roundtrip to Switzerland in February wednesday to wednesday is under $600 from a lot of locations. It's cheaper for me to fly to switzerland that week than to my parents house in North Carolina.

So yeah, kayak.com +/- 3 days to Zurich Wednesday to wednesday in February is pretty stupidly cheap.

My friend and I are likely going the 15th - 22nd for a lovely $520.

(bonus, i'll have enough miles after that i will have earned a free flight)


So yeah, if you find cheap airfare to somewhere awesome, please share.

The last 3 vacations I've been on I've paid a grand total of $0 for airfare. Fuck yeah, credit card miles!

My flight to CO for Xgames/SIA was free.... cause... Delta Voucher trickery.

But do you really get that many miles with the credit card? I always wonder about that. I'm hesitant on getting one. Do you pay yearly fees or any of that?

anyone looking to go to south america next summer the best time to buy tickets is like jan-march. last year or 2 years ago i forget i was able to get it down to like $520 round trip dc-santiago
