my first speeding ticket

78 in a 65 zone.

GOD FUCKING DAMNIT!!!! it was driving with the family back from South Dakota. Long straight wide open road with little traffic and plus i thought they didnt really care in Wyoming. anyway our trip reaqlly sucked too. fat old people with American flags and yellow ribbons everywere. the best parts were a coffee shop we stopped at becasue working at that coffee shop were the only hot girls in the whole town and they were really hot and also this resteraunt had a really hot chick working at it. there was this really flat 'bt. bike trail' which was ok, and devils tower was prutty cool and the indian stone thing that is like mt rushmore was kind of cool but other then that is was damn boaring. i woulnt say it was worth the drive and this damn ticket.

would you guys consider 78 in a 64 very bad?

damn they normally give oyu 10 miles over the limit anyway, catching you for 78 is just a plan asshole cop who is so upset with the fact that he is a cop on a road that no one drives on so he had to pull you over.

Try going 114 in 55 in Milwaukee county, and I only got a warning for that. :o

Had plenty of speeding tickets, it's ok you're rookie, sooner or later you'll regret doing it when your insurance rate skyrockets. :)

my freind did 85 in a 35 and when the cop went to pull him over he kept goin to try and find a safer stopt to stop and the cop thought he was tryin to get away the cop was a real dick about thw whole thing

It is 12 mph over, its not bad, but still you have to expect to get a ticket for that. And I doubt any state gives you ten, I think most cops give you a 5mph leeway after that youre getting a ticket.

Try 95 MPH in a 90 KPH zone in Canada driving a 15 passenger van! Everyone helped pay the ticket but I didn't send it in for a long time and I kept getting these letters in french LOL

My mom got pulled over in north carolina in her vette doing 140ish she hired a lawyer and never even went to court. The cop was riding her ass at night time and they didnt realize it was a cop because it was undercover and my dad told her to floor it. she said when they were pulling away from the cop he flicked his lights on. At least my parents can never give me shit for speeding after that display

I got one for 81 miles an hour in a 75 what a fucking dick cop,semi ruined a day skiing, and i got one for being in the carpool lane trying to beat traffic to get to the hospital because my uncle was having a heart attack... of course he didnt believe me so i have to pay 390 bucks.. fuck the CHP

We have a road by my house that everyday a cop sits in the driveay of a school and radars the speed limit is 25 and when we first moved in my dad got a ticket for goin 28 NO LIE! THe cop actually wrote a ticket for 28 MPH!!




Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

This is one area that I know all too well.
I've had so many speeding tickets it's not even funny.

First one I could laugh about, Second was fairly comical... by the time I got to 10 speeding tickets.. it's just not funny anymore.

I've ran from the police going over 100. Another time I had the police chopper on me.. and so on and so on. I've lost my license twice.

Just learn from it. Don't go the route I did. Take traffic school and don't speed. You'll be happier.

A friend of mine holds the ticket record around me, in his old camaro (with a worked engine), was clocked at 147 mph in the breakdown lane, which led to a high-speed chase (he had flipped up his mirror because the sun was in his eyes), went through a road-block (they had called in the wrong type of car, so he got through the road block setup for him), and when he finally saw the cops, he pulled over, and found out there were 4 cruisers chasing him through 7 towns and over the MA and NH border - somehow, he explained it (running/evading) and only got a ticket (lucky bastard since anything more than double is supposed to be automatic revokation of lisense and jail).

My worst, getting clocked at 117mph in a 55mph going to Cape Cod at 12:30 AM, thankfully I had a hell of a jump on him (sitting in between the off and on ramps) and didn't get caught (officially), I made it to a McDonald's, locked doors and ran inside before the cop saw me or my car. When I went outside about 20 minutes later, he was parking me in and I got a lot of questions, I didn't even get a warning because he couldn't prove it was me.

60 something in a 45...... i thought it was a 55, as it was straight and rural, and had no signs posted. of fucking course not. the cop was nice though, he gave me a $20 'Failure to obey a sign' citation, instead of a $400 + insurance ass-ramming 15+ over ticket. best part was that mom was in the car, and we were on the way to get my new car. my life suxors.

14 over isn't much on highways...


I was goin 55 on a 25 in a residential area and challenged the ticket in court. The cop didn't show up and I got everything dropped. SO my words of advice are for everyone to challenge their tickets, sometimes it doesn't get changed, but most of the time it gets dropped or lowered.

my mom was going into Denver, and went over the last hill before the descent into denver, and the speed limit went from 75 to 55, and she was going 81... anyway one cop up on this overpass did the radar then the 20 cops on motorcycles next to him went after 20 people in the same pack... my mom was one of them and got a 26 mile over ticket... yea cops are dope when they catch murder's and rapists and shit and when they PROTECT the people... but when they just sit around busting kids on handrails and sitting on overpasses waiting for old ladys to pass by when they drop the speed limit 20mph JUST so they meet tehir quota is fucking GAY!

On the way to Nags head nc passed some fucker who sped up, so i was going 100 by the time i passed him in my integra. I was still coasting applying no break, went around a bend and a cop pulled his e brake spun around and pulled me over. I was doing 96 in a 55. I was fucking 20 miles away from nags head 2. Now I have to go to court, and pay for a lawer and court fees, plus they might take the license and ass on more fines

A word of advise to the poster: If you are ever on that road again, DO NOT SPEED. Were you near a town called Lusk? Those Highway patrolmen handed out the most tickets in the country a few years ago. They don't fuck around. I'm from Rapid City and used to drive to Denver once in a while. I've had my share of tickets...8 I think, not worth it at all. Going fast is fun, but those insurance companies will rape you for everything, and make sure you never ever get insured on a car worth driving fast. Speeding through Wyoming may seem like a great idea but it's bad.

I got pulled over for AVOIDING AN INTERSECTION ahahahaha! that was funny shit. I cut thru the parking lot, used signal lights and everythin no biggie and all of a sudden I see this UFO behind me...
got a ticket...still waitin for the charges
back home the limit is 85 nobody cares, you have cop anouncements on public radio stations so 100 is average, 120 is speeding
and being passed by a ferarri (sitting in a bmw3) at 120 (the ferarri doin MORE) is fuckin unbelievable (but it happened)

thankfully the most I've had to pay on a ticket is about $100, I have friends whose tickets have been upwards of $500 and automatic suspentions (3 violations/surcharges on 1 ticket) which including the fines and reinstatement fees and court fees have cost over $2500.

My old driving habits are why I got a truck, its much less ''visible'' to cops, and simply cannot drive as fast. It also convenient that I live in one of the fastest driving states in the US (MA), so chances are a cop won't pull you on the highway for less than 80 - and I've driven 100mph on a major highway being passed on both sides before (at 2:30 PM).

In sweden they base your ticket amount on your annual income. So if you make 20 million dollars a year, your ticket could be upwards of $200 000.
This is why they have the record for the most expensive tickets.

a kid in my old school go one for 135 in a 35 in his dads corvette, he out ran the cops but they got the plates
