"This camera does NOT take 1 Trillion frames per second. In fact, the way this experiment is done, it doesn't even need to take ONE frame per second. It's using a strobed light (laser) and very accurate timing to create the same scene over and over again, taking a different shot each time. The end result is that you can make a series of photos that look like 1 trillion frames per second of video, but really, those stills are all from different "takes".
1). The subject of the video has to be COMPLETELY stationary. You cannot capture moving objects because you need many scans of the scene to create the virtual video.
2). No other light sources can be used except the laser - has to be a completely closed system."
