This. If you need to pick up a cat and don't want them to be a fuckhead and jump out of your arms, you pick them up by their neck like that. Doesn't hurt em, they're designed to be picked up like that.

if you tie a long sock around a cat's stomach it takes like 3 steps and tips over, then it cant get back up haha
