Troublemaker's Edges

So I demo'd a pair of my friends, hit all-mountain up, and liked em in that aspect. I didn't hit the park, but I'm sure they perfrom well, as I've read reviews, and they ARE a park ski (they also seemed to have good pop, etc).

But, I've heard a lot of complaining about TM edges, and I obviously can't check out edge durability in demo'ing the ski in one day, as edge durability is measured over a long period of time, such as one season.

So basically I just want to know how you guys that ride this ski, think of its edge durability on rails and stuff. thanks.

ive seen TM edges get blown out within 5 days of purchase on a few pairs...i mean im not speaking badly upon them, but i wouldnt rate them very highly in EDGE DURABILITY

I get about 30-35 days a year. And I've been skiing since I was like 3 so I ride pretty fucking hard.

the only reason why the edges blow out is because of their 90 degree sidewalls. if only they tried to put them in an angle like rossi or simply put it like a low end ski and cap construction, it would hold. they could also put a much stronger core (like Armada) but you'll be loosing the flex that everybody is crazy about.

oh cuz skis comein pairs ...i get it now had to think of it for a sec there ..did you always break the same one ex, always broke the right ski ??

that is realy realy unfortunate...i would have like to buy trouble makers alot and i think i would be hitting rails alot this upcoming season and that kindof crushes my hopes..i see so many people use them though and they seem to hold up but that just must be an illusion..does anybody have anything good to say about trubs?

fuck, this sucks, i just got them and i hear more and more about the edges sucking, at first i thought it was an illusion but i kno now that its not oh well, ill just get armadas next year

yeah, i won some at camp this year. i've demoed them and love them, but i hit rails more than anything. this season should be interesting.

yeah from all the people with ms that ive seen the edge durability blows, i dont think ive seen one pair with unblown edges

yeah but they ski better then skis with oversized edges, those skis are sick ive had them and pe and tms ski better.....

the mad trix are a good choice i believe-they are nice and stiff and can hold a nice edge going fast unlike some jib skis, and are pretty much invincible, i still have some that are from the 02 season and the edges arent even cracked in a single place, and i do rails every day.


ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed
