good idea for a skiing game?

i kindof want to make a skiing rpg in flash with my spare time, and i kindof dont. i don't want to make another controll your character game, but a go from a nobody skier to a pro game, by choosing differn't items and differn't path.
in the game, you would start out at home where you pick like five basic tricks, you'd then make your way to the local ski shop to pick out a simple set of skis, nothing speacil. you then head for the local ski hill, earing money and points. you don't actually controll the character down the hill, you just pick from a selection of choices that would pop up on the screen. i'm trying to follow the footsteps of that one game on gameboy that was really popular. i forgot the name, but it had the little chinese kids running around with the red and white balls. very gay, but would be cool if it revolved around skiing. instead of the little animals, you would learn new moves. instead of going to differnt castles or whatever, you would go to differn't hills. instead of taking facing other guys with pets, you would ski agiansts other fags on the hill, choosing differn't moves on differnt jumps to win.
yeah, i'm probably not making any sence, but this would be fun to waste time on until the other guys brought out the cool games.
it would be relativly easy to make in flash, seeing as how you're not moving a guy around, your just choosing differn't actions that would play a certain animation. whatever.

i think an rpg game would be cool...you like walk around and collect stuff, and challenge people to comps and stuff...ever played snowboard kids for nintendo 64??? sorta like that, but skiing and more rpg stuff

i was thinking you would make your line down the park, pick your tricks, let the skier go down, and see if he made it without crashing. your oponint would do the same thing, pick his line, pick his trick, and see if he made it. whoever picked up more points from the 'battle' or whatever would win the match, gaining your character points to get new skis, tricks, attire, transportation to get to bigger resorts..

i'm just thinking an rpg skiing game that follows the footsteps of grand theft auto three. you kill murder the guys, steal some stuff, buy some stuff, ski, hit the tricks, bone the hookers, ect.

first off, what is g-max and second you should take a look a x-games snowboarding 2002. it is kind of like that, but you can actually snowboard.

yeah, x-games skiing would rule, espn makes good games except for that skateboard one, but it is hard to make a good skateboard game.
