Yesterday was my second day of the ski season for me, i live on the east coast, no snow near me and can't drive. So this is my first year in the park basically--I am learning tricks and stuff. Last year I didn't take it seriously, i did moguls, woods, and the backcountry of the east. Anyways my friend knows a ton of kids there who have been skiing for years, I am 14 and been skiing since i was 10, I am probably better than my friend and some of his, and since it was my first day learning to do rails and stuff they all have an attitude that they are better than me. But really only my friend. I am new to ns so i have no idea if this is a "gay" thread or if its in the right place.
I just wanted to know if anyone else had this happen to them.
I told them to stop so it doesn't happen anymore 'cause now they see that I am fairly good :p
by the way i am progressing really well, i can 360/540 and do some rail tricks and boxes. I don't consider myself good, but good for someone who has never had experience on jumps or rails (not lying).
