Okay... so... wasn't that high pressure ridge supposed to go away by now? like... holy shit its been well over a month since I've even seen rain... It's just cold and dry... Which is fine if you're in SoCal, but jeeesus...

it was moving east. but the east winds of the gorge pushed it back and its pretty strong.

they are saying after Xmas
and as ive posted before

right now the rainfall in PDX is .06 yes for the month so far. the driest DEC on record which goes back to 1876 was .88 so its been dry as fuck.

the only positive is that 1 no snow is melting id rather have this then warm rain to fuck every thing away.
2. the conditions as of late has been great for snow making at ski bowl. and yes i cannot believe i am talking about snow making in Oregon.. f

as lame as it is.. we can still go ski. some kids have not even gone yet



but we may have to burn a bunch of old skis for the snowgods

Agreed. And even though its been thin, the skiing has been fun in a rocky spring time kind of fun.

From Xmas day-onward there should be about 2-3 weeks of consistent waves of storms coming through our area.

I have bit the bullet, and picked up an ON3P Vicik. So logic would dictate that it will soon start dumping so much that I will be using Caylors.
