... Really?
It was what the late 60's rock subculture was like. LSD was at its height in the game. Bit more than reefer.
Wasn't all that confusing at all, just made me wish I was there
seriously. i've seen it several times and it still doesn't make sense. it's the only movie that's fully mind fucked me
tangent universe forms when the jet engine crashes and frank is there to lead donnie through the steps necessary to collapse the tangent universe in a way that won't implode the real universe? frank helps knowing it will cost him his life just like donnie ultimately does the same? once it's over the subjects influenced by the tangent universe have recollections in their dreams, like frank drawing the bunnies and gretchen waving at donnie's mom? in the end it's all about god intervening with science?
being john malkovich, so many wtf moments in that movie, i still don't even know how to describe it to other people, none of it makes sense, but you end up walking away from it feeling highly entertained
the nines is another great one that probably not a lot of people have heard about, it's a recent independent with ryan reynolds, pretty much made me realize that i'm super jealous of that guy because of how goddamn good looking he is and the fact that he can actually act, and the movie just has you saying wtf over and over, in a good way
i've got tons of others, confusing, twisted plot movies are my favorites
this and inception are mind fucks. and for me, the departed gets me everytime because everybody fucking dies in the end of it and it's something that you don't see coming!
What a crazy film. After the opening credits and the DMT scene though, I lost genuine interest and just stared at the cool pictures, since the sound mixing was pretty poor. In terms of actually being watchable, Irréversible (by the same director) is much better.
Just watched Existenz/ So much like a game version of Inception. Thanks for the reccomendation. I'm about to watch a movie by the same director called Videodrome. Seems pretty fucked up
Dude, it's fucking crazy, right?!?! Its makes no sense, until i watched it a second time. If you're still up for another weird confusing movie, try Mulholland Dr.
Its so far out and fucking confusing. It literally makes no sense...ever.
i didn't find the usual suspects to be confusing. the end explains everything so it's more mind-blowing than confusing. still an awesome movie though, you should definitely watch it
