I have decided on using the ironclad CCG: WaterResistant(20,000mm)-WindResistant-Neoprene Wrist Closure- ULTRA SOFT thumb pads- Microfleece Insulated As an insert inside of a Dakine Titan Glove(Gauntlet): Goretex,Treated Nylon shell, Goggle Wipe/Nose Wipe on thumbs, Thermaloft, Rubbertec Palm I get WAYY better grip than Dakines wimpy Fleece Liner. Not that the Rubbertecs Palm isn't already great even fit loosely. My sizes are XS-Ironclad CCG & Med-Dakine Titan Glove (Phantom)

Just Curious what people use. No spam is normally an ad or just b.s. I'm just curious what I might have overlooked in searching for a waterproof windproof strong grip glove. Have Ringers Roughneck Insulated Insulocs coming in today. The Duraclad grip is better than the Rubbertec & Synthetic Leather Sucks Hytel waterproof breathable membrane is way too breathable alone.

To throw something constructive out there, even though I'm not entirely certain about this thread...

Cactus SPG all-leather glove + Icebreaker merino wool liner. Insanely waterproof and windproof, really warm, damn near bulletproof outer (although the Icebreakers fall apart pretty quickly). Cheap considering what you get. Goretex cuff. Good dexterity for a full-size (not spring style) glove. Merino wool liner means they don't get stinky. And you can re-proof them with some good boot wax.

A lot of the Antarctic research staff wear the SPG. To me, that's a pretty good endorsement.
