I don't think so - on my 179's it looked like it was around 5-10mm in front of core center but we didn't spend too much time working it out.
My 79's are mounted at +6.5 and are tons of fun there. They have so much float you don't really need to worry about that aspect (in my opinion) and the improved balance of having them close to center makes them really fun for just playing around on.
That said, I also skied a pair (179s too) mounted at +3 and they could bulldoze pretty much anything.
