** Park Skis Camber vs. Rocker (Pros and Cons) **

K2 revivals might be a good option for you. basically the same as the domain except not symmetrical and meant to be mounted a bit farther back. i currently ride domains and i love them. i bought a second pair at the end of last season because i loved them so much. good pop nice and playful. great on jibs. but if you like carving really quick slalom turns its not gonna happen on those skiis. not a lot of sidecut. which is why i recommend the revivals if your more into the freeride.

Have you considered the Alpha 1 from Armada.

I have volkl walls and love them like a child. It kills it in the park, is an amazing cruiser all over the mountain (groomers and unpacked snow alike) and can even venture into a bit of pow. Its one of the only true park skis that Ive ridden that doesnt wash out when taking a hard turn on groomers, and with the symmetrical set up slays switch ups on rails and has the perfect swing weight. Its also tough as nails! I rode mine through a couple gravel pits and hit a few rocks last year and they took nearly no damage! It is just an amazing ski for whatever you can throw at it.

on3p filthy rich for narrower or jeronimos for wider (96mm underfoot)

They have less area and less pressure on the front and back of the ski so they dont initiate turns as well.

in my newschool years i have skid and owned: the volkl karma, vokl walls, armada ar6s, coreupt TJ pros, atomic punx (10/11) and the k2 domain. (in that order)

out of all the skis the punx was by far my favorite. its is just so damn light and soft. but none the less i have never had any problems with it going as fast as i wanted. the swing weight is very low and they are extremely responsive and quick edge to edge. they carve very well (out of the above skis only the ar6s and punx carved better).

at first i did not like the narrow 82mm waist of the ski, but now im totally for it. no need for a wider park ski for me. the domains i thought would be interesting, but the rocker did make them feel alot less lively and resonsive than the punx. it is quite a bit heavier and the swingweight is therefor higher too. its cool for buttering and if you land with 90° too little you can just slide the last bit around.

another thing that bothered me with rockered skis is that with blunt edges it takes alot more time to do a sudden stop than with cambered skis.

my next pair of skis, if my punx die on me will be another pair of punx.

get either the line blends or the on3p jeronimos, both are sick but the jeronimos are the sickest all mountain ski ever made hands down they will not dissapoint ever

I had punx then domains. I had same reaction except that my punx got fullrocker after around 15 days which made the skis so much more fun.
