Looking at picking up a pair of these boots seem to get great reviews. Seem to be the perfect boot for me on the stiffer side which i like in my boots. Anyone out there try these out before.

They're stiff and honestly probably more boot than most people need. I preferred the F2's. Shoot me a PM and I can go over any specific questions you might have.

sweet boot. i dont think they are overly stiff. its a 16 flex or roughly a 135 on the normal flex index. im 5'4'' 150lbs and aggressive and dont have any issue flexing them. granted i bought the hell and back hike pro which is a 14 flex, or roughly 115. if you are a bigger guy, or aggressive all the time the f1 is a sick boot. plus you have the option to make it a 98mm last which for some people is key. i have a pretty narrow foot but found 100mm to be fine. but as stated above the f2 will be a bit more forgiving at 15....125 flex. same boot overall, only difference is liner and flex. you also loose the ability to make it 98mm. i got the hell and back for a few reasons, one being the hike ability, the other being aimed more at the freeride aspect with full shock eraser. but overall great boot. if you havent tried them on, and have a high instep the middle buckle will crush you foot, but if you have a relatively normal foot they are sweet. also the easiest boots to put on and take off no matter how cold it is.
