I know I know, searchbar... I have and there isn't really much advice for anyone who skis things how I do.
I'm 5'9 and 140 and will be skiing the 185 JJ. I'm gonna use this ski as fairly all purpose, I will be jibbing around forward and switch in pow, but also on piste and some park. I don't want to totally ruin the carving performance, but I have mounted every ski I've ever had forward of recommended and never had a problem.
I've had Bentchetlers at -1.5cm from true and EPs at True and at -1.
My instinct was to go at -1.5cm like I did on my Bentchetlers since the shape is so similar, but I've heard they shouldn't be skied further forward than -2.5 to maintain float and carving ability.
Spark notes:
185 JJs, Switch landings about 50% of all tricks in pow, would like to be able to carve still. Will ride park but not rails.
