So basicely I live in Ontario and the mountains here have been relying on the ski/snowboard community to make and setup features for the past like 8 years, and the community is getting kind of tired of doing all this work with nothing in return. I was looking at some vids/articles about Ruby Hill railyard in Denver, and something like this seems like a great alternative.
So I have some questions for denver skiers about how the ruby hill rail yard works
-Who funds the place? (insurance, snowmaking, jibs, etc.)
-I noticed how all the jibs at the rail yard are in perfect condition with no graffiti of any sort, and no barriers around the place except construction fence. How do you guys keep out vandals/thieves?
We have a large arsenal of jibs in the community here, (as I was saying we have been making all the rails for the resorts for the past 8 years.) So we basicely just need a place to set-up.
Any logistics I am missing here NS?
