Alright, so i am more than likely going to get one of these three bindings, i can get them all for a identical price at my local ski shop.
I know that salomon and atomic make the same bindings just re branded, but does the Atomic feature the same driver toe piece as the STH 16 Driver?
And as for the FKS 140's i have heard many people rave about them, however up against STH 16's how do they measure up?
About me
-6'1 175
-Mounting on volkl walls
-Midwest so lots of part and durability is key
-type 3+ skier

You will get the same performance out of all three of them, some people have preferences when it comes to bindings, but you don't seem to have that, so I say just go with the one that you think looks best, they will all three work really good for you.
.And yes the Atomic and Salomon binding is 100% identical.

The STH 16 and FFG 16 are the same exact binding (including the driver toe) except the colors.
As far as the FKS vs STH/FFG, last year I had Pivot 18s on one ski and STH 16s on another (both skis were K2 Domains). The STH was lighter and had better entry, but had less durability and released a bit more frequently that the Pivots, the STH also had some toe wiggle at times (not all the time, which was weird) I could have adjusted the toe height, but I don't think that was the problem. Personally, the weight didn't matter too much to me and I wanted the added durability so I stuck with the FKS.

that's not true, the driver toe has better release patterns by a lot of people's standards compared to the shitty 14 din px toe on the fks 140s as well as being arguably more durable, and the ffg16 offers a lower minimum din then the sth 16. Also, sth/ffg have a wider mount pattern then the fks, which can help with preventing pullouts should the core get soft
i would say sth or ffg, which doesn't really matter because you should never be riding your dins at the lowest few settings, that and I just like the feel of clicking into an sth heel compared to a turntable

Damn, I completely forgot the toe on the 140 is different from the 180...what was I thinking...haha. I was comparing the FKS 180 to the STH 16...I'm dumb. Go with the STH/FFG 16 over the FKS 140.
