But implicitly, from this ad, he is against gays openly serving in the military, and probably against gays in general, hence the Bachmann-esque backlash. Seems like a foolish thing to dig your heels in over, but they do, and it only appeases the super religious-conservative right, while alienating everybody else.

That said, I do grow weary of this constant PC bullshit and attack (coming almost exclusively from the far left) on things like Christmas and that general message I can certainly agree with, even though I'm agnostic.

well it does actually piss me off a lot that everywhere you look it says "happy holidays" instead of merry christmas, "christmas" related shit is no longer allowed in public schools. I mean, i dont want to shove christmas down the throats of foreign people or non-christians (even though coporations do that indirectly with their christmas sales and advertisements)

but the fact that we can no longer openly promote christmas for being christmas is ridiculous. if you are a foreign person and you have that big a problem with us mentioning christmas, go the fuck back to whatever desert you came from and stop whining.

but yeah this guy basically just killed his whole campaign in 31 seconds.
