"Please join us this coming Thursday the 8th at 7:00pm sharp at the Causwell and Surface HQ in Cottonwood Heights, UT for an avalanche awareness seminar covering the basics of traveling in avalanche terrain. We will be discussing terrain, safe travel, and the red flags of recognizing avalanche hazard. The seminar will be given by Alta Ski Patroller, Dave Richards who has been studying snow science for well over a decade here in the Wasatch.
This is an awareness talk and does not have any certification associated with it.
