What is the best scotch you can get in the $40 to $50 range. My great grandparents are from Scotland and I figured this woulod be a great way to get to know about their heritage.... not  really, I just want to try it. So what do you think I should get

p.s. I once drank a gallon of whiskey and a 24 pack of beer in the same night and was barely buzzed, sooo yea, Im kind of a big deal.

that's 109 standard drinks.

assuming you are 14 and 140 lbs, 15 drinks should be easily enough to kill you.

109/15 = 7 1/4

that's enough alcohol to kill 7 of you. very well dumb good sir.

when it comes to scotch $40-$50 doesn't get you all that much in terms of "really nice" stuff...but that's ok.


There's always Chivas Regal....Dewars.... or apparently black grouse says Esquire...

J+B is a cheap but still drinkable bottle. If you want to ball out a little, The Glenlivet 18 is pretty good. I don't have much experience with scotch, but those two I've enjoyed myself.
