i saw colby west in whistler village last year and chatted him up for a bit and hes said the joss was awesome because there are hot 15 year olds that all the pros fuck

also that was pretty sick colby west is still a legit skier

Uh that was pretty funny and ski movies could use a break from constant slow mo tricks. If that's all he has in it then they could have included a bit of him skiing but I think it's great that that's just thrown in the middle of the movie.

should that surprise you, he's done the same thing for his segment for the past 3 years, total joke (draws a few lol's) and like 2-4 shots of actual skiing that would still be b-roll for any other guys segment

I made use of the rhethorical device exaggeration. Anyway, I know several people to throw better tricks than he does (and yes, some can dubcork 12 blunt), inlcuding myself on rails for sure (did you watch Xgames? lolz). And if you check NS Video Section sometimes you would realize that there are many young kids that rip so much harder than he does. If your argument is now that not everything is about throwing down, then why watching Colby (because he has such a dope style ???). I dont care so much about him filming and editing bullshit like this, but please tell me why he is still competing in the XGames, or was at least for the last 2 years? He had absolutely no chance. Should have done it like Tanner and give his place for upcoming guys like Bobby...

I don't disagree that he shouldn't be automatically invited to X.  But saying he's a bad skier is a ridiculous.  You're also calling him a douchebag.  Do you know him personally?  Or do you think his edits like this are ridiculous.  Either way he should have to earn his way into X if he wants to compete.

Of course you're right that he's a good skier. But not good enough for what he earns, you know what I mean? I would much rather see he's opportunities given to some motivated young shredhead than to someone who constantly tries to get his attention as "comedian".
And yes, I am totally convinced that he's a douchebag when he, as a grown-up, tells strangers how he fucks 15-year-olds. Seems paradoxal to me that you refer to my age while the person you're a fan of acts like a 14-year old.
At least we agree about the XGames man :D

I think if Colby took skiing seriously he could be one of the best, that dub 12 mute to oppo mute was sick, it just seems like he doesn't really care, he might as well have the most amount of fun he can

i gotta say im a fan of colby, always thought his parts were fun to watch cuz he is pretty funny for a skier i think and his skiing would just be like a casual day for other people sure, but thats kinda what i liked about his segments. i was really looking forward to seeing this movie mainly because of what his part would be (and bobby's triple and jump sesh of course) but i wasn't impressed with this one that much.

If you guys see the entire movie it actually fits in pretty well..I went to the denver premiere and it was nice timing watching everyone shred then this funny segment..just puts you in an even better mood to watch the rest of the movie..plus I think it's funny and Colby is just out there shreddin and havin a great time which is really what its all about to me.

he's an awesome skier. He rips in Shanghai Six i just wish he would make a legit segment again, im sick of these fucking stupid songs. He had like one shot in that whole segment that wasnt cut up. Either give him a full legit segment or dont put him in the movie. AOLN would have been alot better without that pointless shit in the middle

Please, just right now stop arguing over what Colby West has become lately. Sure he may be a tad bit out of his prime, but he can still dub blunt like its nothing. What you kids fail or realize is that you don't get paid for how good of a skier you are.  You get paid on how good of salesman you are for the company.  There is a reason why bobby brown is getting huge sponsors and your thugged out am's are not.  Appeal to the vast majority of population.  Colby is no different.

if this was his only seggy in the whole movie yes i would be a little disappointed and feel bad, but later in the movie they do a kicker sesh at alyeska and he has a bunch of good shots on it. colby is the man quit yer bitchen
