The Hornbeck Hillbilly Hoopla is back! If your stuck at home this winter break or your visiting the Twin Cities area you might as well have some fun. The camp is in the Backyard at Summit Boardshop in Lake Elmo Minnesota. They have their own snow maker. They have lots of rails and boxes and there will be a nice jump and other features this year. There is also a newly remodeled skate park inside the shop.Last year there were 30 kids mostly from the Twin Cities area, but a couple kids came from Michigan, Wausau Wi, and even a foreign exchange student from Switzerland! Some kids had never even skied in a terrain park before and at the end of the camp they could slide rails like a pro. It costs $200 which includes food, and instruction by Mike Hornbeck and Ahmet Dadali. There is lots of free swag and prizes. The value of the free stuff i got last year was more than the camp. For meals we got tacos from Taco Bell, subs from Jimmy Johns, and pizza from Little Ceasers.
Give them a call at 651-714-1117 to confirm your spot. Tell them Brien Berglund sent you!
