Would you want to know when you were going to die?

I wouldn't. i think of it like this

If you have a quiz that you know you are gonna fail, then you will dread all of the time you have until that quiz. But if you have a pop quiz, you wont know anythings wrong until boom!! you fail!

i would want to know.

then i could plan my life accordingly and have fun, get married, travel, eat great food and do whatever.

if i found out i'd be dying say, tomorrow, then i'd go buy a plane ticket and travel to where i can, when i can.

well if someone came up and told me that im gonna die on a given date, then that means i would be immune from death until that date, wouldnt it? so yeah i think being invincible would have significant advantages.

i think knowing when you're going to die would be kind of liberating. you would definitely have a different perspective on life. you would stop more often to take a look around...you would realize how trivial the things in life are. big screen tv, latest gear, newest clothes, and etc..i would have a hard time staying still that's for sure.

I heard on T.V. (so it must be true...) that humans are the only animals that acknowledge they are going to day someday. I don't know how they know it to be true or false though..

Back to thread. I would like to know because it would allow me to live life to the fullest and make me take risks.

If you believe in god that is. My opinion when people ask this question is this: some people don't want to and others do. The people who do justify it by saying I'd wanna know so I could live my life to the fullest. I say we will never know when we will die so act as if you did and live it to the fullest anyway. I know I try to live mine to the fullest and I know that if I died tomorrow even though I'm young I'd still feel good about how I Used the time I Had.

I would want to know, so i could plan my days out. ex. if i was dying in three weeks i wouldnt be going to school, i'd be doing everything i need to before i die!

It would be impossible to determine. Say you were told you would get killed by a truck crossing the street. You would just not cross the street. The only way this would work would be if you were to die from an unciurable illness, something that would kill you no matter how early you went to a doctor.

It would really be a blessing to know. That sounds really religious but how many people wonder about and worry about the day they will pass away. Basically it would suck to know, but i would rather have it that way.

death is imminent regardless. fear of death would only occur when you didnt know when it was gonna get you

absolutely. i would do some horrible, unforgivable shit in my last 12 hours or so and have zero repurcussions. i would save all my illegal bucketlist items for the end.
