First post, so please bear with me.
I'm 15 years old, been skiing since I was 3. 6'0", 170 lbs. So, I have a pair of 2011 Nordica Dead Moneys (the skis, not the boots). I've always been a very aggressive downhill skier, but over the past two years I've made a transition into heavily focusing on the park. So, last year I bough the Dead Moneys. A few days ago, I also bought a pair of 2011 Nordica Ace of Spades boots. The bindings I have on the skis are Marker Griffons, mounted about 3 cm forward of the factory recommendation. But, with my first pair of boots, I need to remount the bindings. I've been wanting to put the dead center for a while, and now's my chance.
I still have a passion for ripping up groomers, and with the current binding position, the skis do that very well. However, now that I'm really moving towards park, I want to mount the bindings at the true center of the ski.
Understanding that the skis will definitely become better for the park with centered bindings, how much downhill performance would I lose?
