I can see why you guys have reasons to hate snowboarders, but its all pending on the person not which sport you choose. i do both but im primarily a snowboarder, yeah you meet youre share fair of douchebag boarders and skiers. no need to hate on the two sports though cuz were all here for the same reason, which is to shred.

Everyone needs to eventually face the fact that skiing is so fucking lame compared to snowboarding, seriously guys. I mean, what are you trying to prove, that you are a complete idiot? Just look at the best guys in the game today, Henrik and Phil. They get all of their new tricks/style from snowboarding.

I think the sickest part is that they have pretty much eliminated the act of scissoring /edge gripping as a means of pretzeling. Best shit to happen to skiing since tanner before he blew up his ankles.

I'm reminded of my hated for snowboarders everyday I ski. Glide thorugh the lift line, oh what's this some asshole stopped in the corral fucking with his binding. Ok, no big deal, just someone clearly more important than me impeding my fun time. Get on the lift, I just want to sit and chill, oh what's that banging into my feet, some fucking lunch tray. So now I have to position my feet out of the way, let their dick stick rest on me, or deal with it banging into my boots the whole way up, fun times it's almost as if the lifts wern't designed with snowboarders in mind. Maybe hold that toboggan in your arms while you ride up next time.. Ok we finally made it to the top time to unload, and dodge every dick bag strapping on within 10 feet of the chair. Finally some thrilling downhill skiing, but watch out for snowboarders blindly cutting across the run on their heel edge. It's not the snowboarders fault the main body position is so dangerous, but that sideways stance is so steezy it makes up for it. Made it to the top of the park? Don't dilly dally too long, it's pretty hard for snowboarders to control themselves with only one effective edge, stick around long enough and someone is gonna slide or wobble or dive right into you. Get a little lonley and want to bring your dog along and make him do trick like lieing down on the run? Well no one is safe anymore without the use of retaining devices, runaway snowboards can generate enough force to shatter a frozen coconut into a million pieces, imagine what would be left of poochy's skull. (OTOH, the sight of a runaway snowboard is a beautiful thing) As you can see, there are plenty of valid reasons to hate the sport of snowboarding, and the actions of snowboarders. But these days most people (read: ns's baby dicks) are willing to overlook getting buttfucked in the name of tolerance. Obviously skiers can be just as big of dicks, and snowboarders have control over a lot of their actions, it's just that: snowboarding by it's very nature is discourteous and dangerous.

I snowboard. And i am pretty sure i dont spend my time in the mountain sitting. I do sit on the side of runs when i am waiting for friends. And when im in the park i do my best to stay upright.

All snowboarders dont just sit and slide

One of my best friends snowboards. It's chill. The only problem I have is when some fucking snowboards dressed as either thugs or hipsters thinks its okay cut a line for a rail or jump. That's when I find myself "accidentally" getting in the way.

This so hard. You can't even get any flow when everyones just sitting in the middle of the trail after each feature(just as many skiers)


If I'm doing hot laps I will cut around everyone and hit the next jump/rail. Fuck the police, and fuck people that stop every 5 feet.


You'd get like 3 runs per day if you waited everytime there were douches stopped in the middle of the trail.

Why does anyone give a shit about how someone else chooses to enjoy the mountain? There are assholes with one board, and there are assholes with two. I don't think there's anything inherently "skier" behavior, or vice versa. Inconsiderate people are everywhere, and oblivious/clueless people are everywhere.

I do have a gripe with the groupthink mentality associated with skiing (which seems to be more an issue in skiing) whereas there seems to be an official uniform and a clearly defined style of "cool".

One time I came home from a night out and was super baked and watched the Jiberish "Do Werk" edit on Youtube and Joe Mango's part (Snowboarding) I had to say was the steeziest snowboarding I had ever seen. I liked it better than Wallisch or Walker. But then I watched it the next day when I wasn't high and it was just back to normal, not as sick.
