People still don't believe in global warming you know? I remember when I was a kid the lawn used to have no less than 2 feet of snow by the end of the first week of december.

Then I grew up and I recall having christmas days where I could be outside wearing shorts and a t-shirt in mild weather.


Kids USED to be "bummed out" about getting skateboards, bikes, and rollerblades on Christmas (and having to wait until spring to use them).......but now...you take them outside and use them.

This isn't global warming.

This is just what happens in PA. One year we're skiing before thanksgiving, the next year, we don't get started until mid December. It's a crapshoot.

So the 2nd biggest snowstorm in the history of Pittsburgh happened the night my grandpa died and the biggest happened the night my grandma died the other year...

Maybe if I had another grandparent to kill...

Well I mean my mom did tell me that i'm going to be pretty well off when my dad shoves off so it would be win-win...

But nah... Maybe when I turn 18 ;)

The worst part about all of this is that people out west have been skiing since the middle of october. I can't wait to move out there.

Any guesses on when the Spot will be open?

Considering the fact that they are planning on building the pipe up bigger than ever and the noticible lack of snow I'm guessing early April before it's all open.
