dude my dad pays almost 60% tax off his total income if you add up all the ridiculous taxes for owning a dental place, nobody should have to pay more tax than they make

you dont need to be making millions to be in the 1%. A few hundred K will get you in the 1%. So I think a lot of the families of the kids posting on this fall into that category because to ski as much as we do and look "fresh" while doing it takes a fair amount of money. my two cents.

dont brag about the 1% until you are actually a part of it. You're all kids, you are in the bottom 1% in terms of income.

Lol, get off your high horse. Obviously we're using our parents' income and not ours personally (though, to be in the bottom 1% you have to be making next to nothing per year, so I'm sure many of us are above that mark). Also, I'm almost positive I'm older than you, not a kid.

any lexus excluding the hybrid cars, the es, and the is you have to be fairly well off to be able to afford one.

lol being in the top 1% isnt just about income its about mannerism and how one composes oneself

No true 1% likes new-money idiots who like showing off their richness with brash, in your face, shit. If it looks like you can't afford to instantly lose it, then you look like an idiot (save a few prized possessions).

Tell tale signs you are poorer than your possessions:
-your possessions appear on posters
-you think black tie on black shirt w/ black suit is a good look
-you think customizing your lambo is cool (a real baller has too many lambos to waste his valuable time caring to make his unique)
-you buy clothes w/ a brand name
-you think a rolex is special

exactly. like think about it... my dad joined a company when it was 8 and 15 years later when he left it was 800. it was a reasearch firm and he was head of the research dept. he went to dartmouth and was top 5% of his class and hes been retired since he was 41.

Hope you guys know that if your household brings in more that around 40000 a year then you are part of the 1% world wide. So this 1% or 99% number is irrelevant. most people protesting against the 1% are part of it so they really are protesting for other stupid reasons that they dont understand.

if your talking about the 1% of the US then its a different story but seeing as this thing is now world wide, these 99% and 1% numbers dont mean anything.
