so last night, me my mom n one of my sisters decide to go to the movies..we get there but we are like 40mins early so we walk over to chapters. I'm like yeee this is cool. so i grab a handful of skiing mags and sit down. im so oblivious to everything else thats going cuz im readng sum important stuff, wen..this dude sits down beside me taps me on the shoulder and goes, 'hey baby' im like 'hey son im kinda busy right now, try again later' and he is like 'that's tiight...why are you reading skiing mags? its august and skiing is for pusssys' so i go 'well clearly i love skiing thats why im reading them and if you think ima pussy why the hell are you trying to pick me up? cuz the answer was clearly no. my mind isn't gunna change. and i suggest if you want to keep your balls from being ripped out and shoved down your throat you'll leave and stop pissing me off, unless you want me to embarrass you even more inront of your friends.' haha his friends started laughing and the look on his face was priceless---but has anyone ever dissed you for being a skier or nething along those line share your story. do it.

haha, I've had that speech before.. 'Skiing is for fags.' One guy tried telling me that skiers aren't supossed to go in the park (and he was dead serious).

I've found though, that the only ones who give skiers shit aren't true snowboarders and can't snowboard at all. It's the people who snowboard because it's trendy or the 'cool thing to do' that give them a bad rep.

Usually, it'll just boost me up and give me more reason to try harder and step it up. Someone tried giving me shit about how lame skiing is.. I didn't say anything to him; Instead, I bombed straight for the 80 footer and threw a rodeo over it. That's when he stopped talking

Whenever I tell lots of people I ski, they usually say snowboarding is better. Since I used to snowboard back in the day, I can clearly say, skiing is better and shut the fuck up you pussy ass bitches until you try it.

yea i was at sunshine i think and some skiers where making fun of me called me a fag for snowboarding it was quite amusing for me and my friends one of them being a hard core free style sking. ALO I SNOWBOARD YES I AM EMBARRASSES OF ALL THE PUNK LITTLE SHITY GRADE 10s who go there fucking boards at cosco and talk shit can hardly turn but they can do a grab think there all that!!!!!! Fucking it makes me so angry. and as soon as they can they try to make fun of every one else damn HOs and basterds. this one grade 10 girl or what ever was on like some shity hill in edmonton and she starts geting all pissed of at people just for sking. so i told her off cant rember what isaid but i think realy got to her because she was practicaly crying. so anyways MAD props to the skiers

dude, i live in southern california where everyone and their mother snowboards. no joke, in my ENTIRE school (of about 1000 people) i have yet to find one skier. everyone here boards, and if you ski, something must be wrong with you. i've gotten the 'skiing is for fags' argument so many times that i'm starting to wonder if anyone in this world has an open mind anymore...

i only do sometimes on the hill. sometimes im building a jump and someone says im doing it wrong. I just say ok. Then they say something 'pussy skiers dont know how to make jumps'. I just laugh and say 'I know, don't you hate that?'. Then they come back after we finish and say 'wow, maybe I was wrong'. But I don't let them hit it.

I have been in that conversation so many times... skiers are lame and bla bla bla. I was lucky because there were 250 kids in my highschool up in tahoe and more then half of the kids skied. The snowboarders and skiers all had respect for one another and it was totally chill. Now that I'm going to school in Reno, I seem to get that conversation more often. I hate it.

I was at the hill one time WAITING MY TURN to go off a jump and these 2 girls and 2 guys came speeding by me and one was like what are you doing? and the other was like 'the stupid skiers are blocking the way' so right as this one guy was about to go off this jump, a string of dumbass snowboarders cut him off and went off the jump thinking they were all bad. Tehy did tht thing that snowboarders do when they try to do a grab, you know flipping their board up but not grabbing it? so all 4 of them fell on top of eachother. everybody just laughed at them. It was good fun

Its alot easier for me since my school is at the base of grouse mountain (which has a sick park). If anyone talks shit to you about skiing you just invite them to take a run with you after school. They always suck too, I havent had a good snowboarder rag on me for skiing yet.

i dont know anyone in my school except one kid that boards. i know about 5 kids that ski. all happen to be on this. the only kid that boards is also on here and he says nothing negative to us. i ski with him almost every time i go and its straight.

haha, i remember this one time, these boarders were talking shit at the top of the hill. so i called them out in front of the entire park. im like 'go ahead, prove to me that im such a pussy. show me up' after i got everybody's attention. yeah I get shit for that stuff all the time. If you tell anyone you went to tahoe around the bay area, they automatically respond 'oh, you snowboard?'. fucking NO I don't.

Two days ago i was trying on ski boots, and I walked away, and this other guy started talking to my dad. I came back, and I guess they were on the subject of me, and the guy didnt see me trying on SKI boots..so he goes, 'oh, thats your son? hes a snowboarder then?'

fucking pisses me off. probably said that just because I was wearing a visorbeanie. snowboarding is such the trendy thing to do these days.

haha i have another story well...during ski season my skool has a ski/snowboard team..and me and this other dude are the only skiers (but he left so now its only shmee) but we have to share a bus with this other skool that pretty much lives way out in hick-ville where the kids all drive tractors to skool and instead of gas they ise cow-milk bwah..ok so everyone from this skool are snowboarders and half of them are all so absent minded which is funny cuz we laugh at them wen they try to smoke up in the litte bathroom on the bus all the way to the mnt. well neways they always play thier snowbarding movies but the thing is it just gets hella boring after an hour and then they start a new one and do sum mo' on the way back home and the thing is the snoabording movies are grrreat i guess ecept all of them all look like same and yu cant tell the difference cuz they all do the same tricks and the best part is just wen they eat shit and die...well neways me n the other cat put a ski movie on i cant remebr which one so dont ask lol but they all started to have beef wiht not just me but our whole schoool and it was so tight so we all ripped on them even the snowboarders from mah skool it was hella funny cuz they hicks didnt know wat to say back cuz they had such low count of brain cells ahah it was funny cuz all the girls from the other skool were pretty hot but suuuuch toools and one of my buddies is the tinyest kid ever and he is jewish right but this kid is sooo funny and one of these girls were like ' aww yur so cute can i try and fit you into one of those over head storage things' and he was like'FUCK bitch you out cho gaaaahd damnn miiind? i might be tiny but it beasts the shit outta being sum custy-ass snowboarder bimbo who wont know what to say after she has just been OWNED' ahaha and she was like...' :/ sooo can i ut you in that storage bin?' hahah soo funny but yeah after that skool was off the bus he did for us funnyest shit ever
