Well I have a couple stories but I will be sharing them over several posts and not just packing it all into one. So for my first one I will start off with a mild story
PREFACE:
I am a member of Kappa Sigma, and I have been living in a fraternity house for the past 3 years. Yeah I know, get your laughs and hate out. What makes this house special is that back in the 70's our house burnt down, causing the death of 5 brothers, Rest in peace (AEKDB). And every anniversary of the fire, alot of activity happens.
STORY:
I was working on hw on a late night, I was at the house, along with 5 other members. The other members were out on a trip to a near by town Lawrence, KS for a birthday party. I decided to stay home and be responsible and get the pile of HW that I had to do. While in the midst of the HW, I heard one of the door slam. Funny thing was that I was the only one in the hall way for the whole five hours while they were gone. The creepy part was that the only door that wasn't locked was the bathroom door which cant slam shut due to one of the actuators on the top of the door. I overlooked this as just me being crazy and hearing things. And then things got really creepy. Ten minutes later still alone, the lights in the hall way went off. The light switch to turn the hall lights on is right by my door so I know when people turn it on or off and no one was there. The final punch to the story that made me scream like a girl is when my lamp on my tv stand that I use for lighting that was set flush against the wall and has about 6 inches of space to the nearest edge of the tv stand. This lamp flew off this TV stand and landed on the floor and broke and my lights went out at 12:05 am on the anniversary of the fire.
