I'm sorry but to say that because its unexplainable by science is ignorant as fuck. Thats like saying just because you cant prove god doesn't exist means he exists. It has nothing to do with "wrapping my mind around it" you've obviously young, you live at your parents house, i think you just cant wrap your mind around the fact that its impossible for ghosts to exist. Im not bashing "beliefs" im simply informing you and the rest of NS that ghosts don't exist and this is a proven fact, not my belief. If you wanna keep believing there are ghosts in your house, go for it, sounds like you're getting owned by your dad/siblings.

I stated a plan fact, a real proven fact, not some bullshit world is flat fact, we have progressed so much from that time, terrible analogy.


Believing in god is fine, i wont hate on anyone for that because religion is what keeps us fucking sane. Used to be pretty religious and as i have gotten older i realize how silly some of it is and how religion is extremely abused for financial purposes. I didnt bash anyones beliefs. Believing in ghosts =/= believing in god.


I just tried to inform the general public, I might have believed in ghost when i was younger too but i have come to realize how fucking impossible it really is, there simply just cant be a thinking life form in thin air, ITS IMPOSSIBLE. It is a fact, proven by science. Tell me ghost exist is like telling me the earth was created 10,000 years ago, absolutely false.

Haha if anyone is ignorant it is you. Look at Ferris' post. I agree with that completely. Because modern science can't explain the paranormal doesn't mean it can't exist. Look at dark matter or anti-matter. People who suggested these things 50 years ago would be laughed at but now they are becoming more real every day. Science is constantly evolving and to say that something doesn't exist because there is currently to irrefutable evidence of its existence is preposterous.

And personally I don't believe in god but some people still do, and you know what?, Until there is 100% proof he isn't just a dragon flying wizard in the sky, no one can say he doesn't exist. Get your head out of your ass and stop thinking so narrow mindedly...

I know you are currently in college but that post made you seem like you were still in high school.

And for the record, please don't make assumptions about my life either. I live at home because I chose to spend my first year of college locally to help out with some family issue.

I'm also a man of science and logic. But I also acknowledge that everything we "know" could be false. Fuck, this life could be the dream of a slime giant, and I'm just playing a part.

The fact you agreed with something I stated was completely wrong is motivating me to completely give up on hope right now.


Science 50 years ago =/= science now. Obviously 50 years ago they laughed at wild shit now, but that was 50 years ago, the progression of science is exponential.

Im not narrow minded, I'm just smart enough to realize that ghost don't exist because its impossible. If you want to keep believing in ghosts, thats fine, im not a super smart person but i know that thoughts and other body functions need a brain to transmit electrical signals and i know thats impossible without something to transmit through.


I just said I thought you young because you lived at home and I was right you are young you're 18 maybe 19 at the oldest. Do you know how fucking stupid I was at 18/19? really stupid, not book stupid, just overall in life experience. Sure you may be different and yeah i shouldn't assume your life just as much as you shouldnt assume mine. But, ive given up on caring what people assume about my life, because its near impossible to actually show who you really are over the internet. So ignore what I said about you being young, even though you are, it just shows more overall life experience.

That being said, Im done here, believe what you want, ignoring science seems illogical to me.

You are not a man of science or logic, you just said anything is possible. It is IMPOSSIBLE for brain function to transmit signals without a brain or a similar object, they can not be transmitted through thin air. /science.

You just seem to refuse to accept that modern science isn't what science is going to be like 10, 20, or even 30 years from now. We are still learning and adapting. Even parts of Einsteins' and Newtons' theories have already been proven to be flawed and incorrect even though they have been widely accepted for years. You are refusing to accept that science is ever-evolving and I guess that's why you can't grasp the ghost concept. Thanks for turning this thread into a debate. Good riddance.

And granite, the cockroach thing and chicken thing are both proven and have reasons why they still move, its just left over signals going through their dead bodies. They can't think, they bodies react to left over brain signals. Ghosts can't have any brain function, it is impossible. I know you never said you believed in ghosts but your stories are implying that, unless a bum is running around your house at night.

The house i used to live in was a huge very old manchine, creaky, and scary as fuck as you can see in some of the pictures on my profile. Anyway this house was THE scariest house i have ever lived in. I've woken up to voices in the hallway, lights flickering on and off, steps on the stairs, running water, and banging on the walls. Anyway, i have no idea why my parents rented the house. Thank god We've moved out.


ghosts do exist, that house made me 100% sure.

I know what you mean. They don't have malintent, they're just visitors. Not quite sure how to explain it, but when you get it, you get it. There are a couple at my house - today I was on my bed, saw someone/thing walk through the view of my doorway into the bathroom. I thought it was my brother, so I got up and walked to go ask him something, and there was no one/thing in the bathroom.

They're just here for whatever their reason is, and they do spook us out, but I'd like to think thats not their intent.
