what up NSG, so i was wondering if you can PTSD from having bad experiences with drugs? god damn it, now that i write that out it looks fucking retarded, but whatever.

yes. i took pot once and murdered my family then ate their toes. i have since been torn up by PTSD and havent slept in 4 weeks

no but speaking of that i did eat a super powered pot brownie and have one hell of a night dealing with a bad high, thought i was dying, felt like the chaos tornado i could see in my room was gonna tear my arms off, it like physically hurt, shit was crazy, anyway i got depersonalization or derealisation from it (not sure which) and i wanted to know if it was possible.

Hey not a douche! Seriously curious of the powers this brownie had. anyway. This may sound weird but my best advice is get super high again. It'll get you out of your funk. Its like riding a horse you fall off gotta get right back on.

ok seriously? it has like 1.5 grams in it and it had hash frosting, as n00bish and 6th grade as that sounds it's true, and also getting super high sounds like a perfect situation for a panic attack, already had one last month don't feel like heading back down that road.

ive been in the same situation many times, just eat GOOD healthy food, get a few good nights of sleep, and do something you enjoy doing sober, you'll wake up one morning soon and just feel back to normal

oh and weed helps too

You're right that statement does sound noobish. Because you are one. But it's ok everyone has these moments growing up. But don't chalk up one bad experience as a reason to stop doing it.

may sound crazy but try it again. Weed is sometimes the kind of thing you have to try over and over again to get used to. It's not really harmful in any way, so once you get used to it, its a nice way to relax. Although it can be expensive depending on the source you obtain it from. After a few tries and you realize its really not for you, than just dont do it. simple as that.

i am drunk right now, so hopefully this doesn't come out too bad.....


but yes, from personal experience i can say that post traumatic stress disorder can be caused by certain bad drug experiences. Since my tripping years, i can say that I now have increased anxiety in certain situations that in some way relate to my experiences on drugs, the biggest is being in a situation full of strangers, with pressures to communicate with them.

however from the research i have done on this topic, these effects are not permanent. and even if they were, the things i have gained out rules these negative side effects by far.

some knowledge about why you are wondering could be useful in trying to help you out however. if you are nervous about trying a drug for the first time, then i would say don't go for it. self fulfilling prophecies are a bitch of a cognitive characteristic.

not really, i can't smoke weed because if its effects. when high, i usually get extreme anxiety and depersonalization. and sometimes it accompanies weird delusions related to to the fact that weed is a psychedelic.

however, pretty much any other drug works with me 100% fine. though i use these drugs only on occasion, i can still and trip off any drug and be fine. it may sound weird, but marijuana is ten times more extreme of a drug then acid, shrooms, dmt, molly, ect.

Weed is a psychedelic, just like LSD, psyocibin, MDMA, DMT, etc. You can have a bad trip on any of them, I've seen weed freak people out a few times and a couple weeks ago I ate some mushrooms and thought I was going to fail all my finals, drop out of college, and that my life was hopeless. BUT instead of freaking out for 6 hours I managed to snap out of it a bit, went and chilled with some SOBER friends who calmed me down and despite it being one of the worst trips I've ever had I got it back under control after an hour or two of freaking out.

Just remember, when bad things happen and you're on drugs, its because you're on drugs.
I don't know what you were feeling while high, but if its having a lasting effect just take it as an interesting new insight - these things don't change you, you change yourself based on experiences you have while on them.
