which lenses would be better for night skiing the fire iridium? or the dark grey? i know both are good for day time skiing plus K+ for help!!!

Both are among the worst lenses you could possibly use for night skiing haha. If you want a night lens that will also work well for cloudier days, try the HI yellow, Pink Iridium, or Ruby Clear.

ihad the pink iridium lenses before they worked really well i might just by another lense honestly... now which would be better for the day time... fire irdium or the dark grey

Basically comes down to personal choice from there. The Grey lens might be a little bit more versatile, just remember that it does not have a mirrored finish like the Fire lens does.

I had the dark grey lens last year and it worked perfectly fine at night. It's like the most versatile lens i've ever used. It worked awesome in the day time and awesome at night. Coming from experience, if you want the dark grey lens. Get it because it's not polarized, and it's mirrored. I'ts only 45 bucks and works in both night and day conditions. You won't be disappointed

like they've said, it comes down to personal preference between dark grey and fire iridium. i prefer fire iridium because its mirror effect just has this certain steeze about it....

also, emerald iridium is a good day lens at about 11% transmission, but again...its totally personal preference

little bit of a thread jack here, but might end up helping the OP. how good is pink iridium for an all around lens. i've heard it is good in storms/low light. true? also, does it still hold its ground when the sun peeks out? just bought some oakleys w/ black iridium, thought i might get the pink to pair with them.

pink would be a good pair for overcast days/flat light since you have black iridium for sunny days. I say pink iridium is too light to be an every day lens. imo

For night skiing I use the high intensity yellow lens and for overcast days I use VR50 pink iridium lens. Go to thttp://www.oakley.com/innovation/optical-superiority/lens-tints and check the lenses out. It lets you see the lens tinting. Just click on sports performance and you'll see all the lens choices under snow goggles. Hope this helps.

i like blue iridium for a versatile somewhat sunny day lens. hi yellow for night. hi persimmon for cloudy days.
