I agree. Their skis are pretty much bombproof which is why they are so popular I believe. If they were to press their own they would loose everything they have gained by working with that factory.

Depends. They would cut in the costs, make larger profits, then expand and invest. The right move would be do so just once they've learnt enough from their current manufacturer. I agree that it could be risky, but worth it in the end if they manage to succeed.

Exactly. Atomic and Armada can look on a really long time of coworking and they really took great profits of that cooperation. It would be a bad idea for building an own production factory.

I think it's not that bad idea. And it doesn't affect freeskiing in whatsoever, they are just all-mountain skis.
