Park skiing will be defined by the olympics, devoid of style and with totally specific criteria and training "facilities". Big spins will be done by those athletes, and everyone who isn't an olympic hopeful will kinda leave them alone. Those who want to push creativity will be finding strange things that haven't been done before. I see more freestyle big mountain stuff happening as well, stuff like what Sean Pettit is doing.
I think skiing will branch out/specialize more, and you won't really have pros doing all aspects of skiing like they do now because the level to be a pro in each discipline will require them to specialize.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if a new method of riding comes along and takes all the young people away from skiing and snowboarding. Newschool skiing made it to the olympics in like 14 years, so who knows what might replace us as the "fresh" snow activity.
Honestly I think we are currently in, or already passed, skiing's golden age. Sorry for the pessimism.
