If you have not heard, Stept is creating a game exactly like S.K.A.T.E, but on snow and with skiers rather than skaters. i think that they, are? a blunt is a blunt and a slide is a slide.

Feel free to tell me where i'm wrong:

On urban-style set ups only, or approaching rails from the side
if your feet go all the way over the rail to tail/noseslide, it's a blunt.
if your feet stay on the same side from which you've approached, then it is a regular tail/nose slide.
you cannot blunt on straight-approached rails,

That's seems simple enough...

they should have at least done some of the easier matchups this winter like maks and charlie or tim and mcrae . I understand how parker and tom would have been hard to set up , but they really should have given us more this winter.

In an interview Martini says he usually spends half his time filming and editing the major yearly stept film, and half filming edits and side projects. Im sure he could fit in a few hours to film and edit a few games of SKATE each season , like he did last year.

The side edits and side projects are ones he gets paid to do. Stept makes no money off this series. Also its been said many times before, its hard to coordinate these games with conflicting schedules and some "players" who ride at a mountain for only a few days every year

alright i know i'm a little late on this but in jordan vs wallisch, when jordan had to match a 2 pret 2, why did he do right 270 in? doesn't he slide and spin left naturally?

Pretty sure he spins right naturally, tho it's hard to know when he's pretty much as steezy leftside.

He spins left and slides right (left foot forward). So he's probably more comfortable from the left side of the rail.

I don't think Wallisch skied this summer , so the Parker vs Tom game isn't gonna come out.

I'm not sure but I think McCheseny and McRae were at hood during the same time...


maybe that's the game coming ?

SeanY J is dirty at spinning both ways. His enders in his last two segments have been flawless disaster 4's, one right and one left

yeah youre definitely right (and yeah both those closing shots were insanely sick) but i would think that while playing a game of skate that he's losing he would do the easiest version there. guess he's just that rad idk

Skiers are weird, some guys feel more comfortable doing what should be "unnatty" 2s on because they like the tips that go over first to be the same as if they were just hopping on natural. So if you are normally left foot forward and spin left, you might do right 2 on to right foot forward, just because you like the tips going over first from that natural side. Its weird, but I have met a couple kids who do it that way, albeit they are in the minority.

yeah i definitely can understand that. i don't have that one but there are weird tricks i counter-intuitively prefer as "easier" for one reason or another
