If you have not heard, Stept is creating a game exactly like S.K.A.T.E, but on snow and with skiers rather than skaters. A pro skier with minimum balance shouldn't have any problems doing this on a park-sized DFD, let alone Tom Wallisch..

What side you come on from determines the blunt/tail discretion

blunt = going over the rail onto your tails
tail= liping onto your tails

its the same is skate/snowboard/etc

In general they are actually pretty easy. Like on just a flat rail or down rail they are easy they just look cool.

Noseblunt = lip slide to noses
nosepress/slide = getting on normal onto noses

Martini dropping knowledge. I personally think both Shea and Clayton should have been a little more strict with what counted and what didn't. Some of those tricks were pretty damn marginal in my opinion, regardless of the definition of blunt/press.

Parker / Wallisch will be the best game yet. But honestly Wallisch will win this super easily. Stept crew are gnarly but dont really have a great park game compared to Wallisch

Worst game yet imo. Some of those nose/tail slides/blunts Clayton did were so fucking stupid, can't believe people think this is the way skiing should progress. I'm not completely against pressing but they don't really belong in a sport where it's impossible to do them proper. But if you're going to do it do it right.

What? Are you saying it's a blunt or tail based on how far away from the rail your bindings are? Re-read your post, cuz that shit made zero sense. The difference between tail slide and blunt slide is direction of approach. Basically, if you approach and hop on lip, or tails first, and land with the rail behind heel and lean back, that's a tail slide. If you approach the rail and hop on regular but basically land beyond your heelpiece, like doing a tail slide on the other side, that's blunt. Tail or nose press should technically be in 50/50 and leaning forward or back. I'm kinda with Jeff, they're all tail slides in my eyes because we've been calling them that since what....fucking t heed was doing them in 04? Probably longer. Why not just say, tail slide or lip tail? I don't know. I'll give Phil blunt when he does shit like what he was doing on the x rainbow two years ago, because he actually approaches reg, lands beyond AND manages to maintain that gnarly as angle where his tips are pointed way up.
