Lack of snow at Kitzebuhl

Hey any of you guys who ski at kitzbuel regurl know if the snow will pick up?

The baker here in Kaunertal told me it's been the driest fall in Austria since they started measuring precipitation in 1823. Snow will come when it comes... as a matter of fact a new front is supposed to move in starting this weekend. We're forecasting a few cm here in western Austria, not sure what's gonna fall in Kitzbühel. Snow-forecast.com is your best bet for a forecast.

well I dont really ski there, but I guess its gonna snow at some point (hopefully)....
Atm, snow is really rare in the whole region (sadly....)

They just moved the world cup races that were supposed to be at Val D'isere vext week to beaver creek. not enough snow

http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=alp-charts check this for next week. 1mm rain = 1cm of snow at least i think. it keeps changing so who knows how much will fall, but there's definatly something happening, and about time!

It's going to snow. Soon. And long.
There has been high pressure above the alps for 3 weeks which stopped clouds from rolling in. Now that there's low pressure above the alps it's gonna get gooood. There's going to be a west-stream (the first in a year) this weekend. It's gonna dump. That's for sure. Probably not in Kitz though, more in the French and Suisse alps probably.

All current weather models show little to moderate snowfall for the south-western Alps at the end of this week. No heavy and long dump in sight.
