How to make your boot fit into your binding?

Simple question but i believe everyone should know how to do this if shit hits the fan on the slopes.

im sorry, what? please clarify what you mean. unless you have never skied or seen somebody step into bindings, you would know how to make your boot fit into your binding. Are you talking about if something happens to your binding during a crash? like ive had a part of my toepiece rotate ~90deg and it was a case of stomp on it and clip in. generally your heel piece isnt going to move and your boot isnt going to magically change sole length, so i dont get what your asking.

haha yeah no worries, i should have explained it better.

I just bought the t halls and the binding are alreayd mounted on to the length of my boot, but i need to adjust the bindings so that the gap between the toe cap and the heel part of the binding so that the boot fits perfectly, i know i need to use the screw drivers at the bottom or top of the chair lifts but i just need to know how exactly to adjust the bindings to that the gap gets bigger to fit my boot

this. get a shop to do it so you get it right and have the right forward pressure and din.
what bindings do you have? did you buy them second hand and that's why they dont fit your boot? also how far off are the heel pieces fitting your boot? as if they are outside of the adjustment range of the rails on the binding, you may have to get a remount.

each binding company adjusts differently. Just take them in. If they are used, have them ASTM tested... don't ask what that means, just tell the tech they need it (they should be required to do it anyway). If we're talking about "screwdrivers at the bottom", please dont do this yourself, you can really get hurt if you don't do it properly.
