Hey so I've been having some trouble figuring out which size ski to choose, I'm about 6 2' with boots, and am currently looking at the moment pb&j , k2 kung fujas, and line sir franc kinda that one ski quiver. idk if i should get the pb&js in 182 or 188 if i do intend on riding park, same with the fujas its 179 or 189? I'm just not sure on the right size. any help would be much appreciated. lots of karma for help.
If you're not going to ride too much park a longer ski would be good for you. Most park skiers buy a intermediate length ski for more control. If you're a confident skier, I would go with the larger skis given you size. Overall, its completely a personal decision based on preference. Do what feels best for you.
I'm 6' 1" with boots on and I ski the Salomon Suspects in a 181. Longer
length=more versatile and more speed. However, a ski as long as a 189 will hurt you in the park. But he's right, it comes down to
personal preference and confidence level.
