I just learned the live version of Hotel California from the Eagles. It wasn't hard at all to learn here are the tabs and here is the song ....you won't be able to find the song on youtube btw the eagles recording company took em all down

Already mentioned it, but worth a repost. Either Rylynn or For My Father by Andy McKee. Somewhat challenging, feels good when you finally nail it though.

depends what you're into:
- master of puppets, ride the lightning by Metallica
- eruption solo by Van Halen (the tapping parts lots of fun)
- any song by Rush (pretty simple)
- any song by Iron Maiden (no too hard)
- any song by Dream Theater (sick band) also Liquid Tension Experiment (lots of shredding)
- Technical Difficulties or Scarified by Racer x (if you can shred as hard as Paul Gilbert)
- or just shred and make up your own stuff

First song I learned on guitar that I really enjoyed playing.

Recently learned Caress Me Down. Took fucking forever to memorize the Spanish lyrics (looking up what they meant in English helped, and is also hilarious), but it seems to be a hit at parties and stuff. And the best part is "take your chones a las mandan a me" (spelled probably wrong) means "take your panties and send them to me", and you can sing that line in English if you want and it still rhymes.

If you can do anything spanish/flamenco you will be pretty much a guitar badass.
Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers are a few good artists that I think you could draw song-inspiration from too.

-What genre of music are you into?
-Do you prefer acoustic or electric?
-Finger picking, strumming or precise picking with a pick?
-Do you want to sing with the songs or just play?
-How good are you? (what can you already play)
-Do you want the song to sound impressive of just feel good to play? (There is overlap here)
