Biggest Public Jumps in the World

Which resort has the largest jumps open to public? I really love just straight airing a really huge ass jump, and I haven't met a jump in my life that I wouldn't hit. I want to know who has the largest public jumps in the world so I can plan a trip out there and hopefully not die. The biggest jump I've ever hit was maybe 65-75feet on blackcomb, but i know that there is bigger out there! K+ guys,for some pics/videos!

Never actually measured the landing but it was over 80' to the knuckle. Definetly a big jump.

Definitely Mammoth, I've been there for like ten years and basically seen the largest jumps ever. The gunstock line is never built anymore though I wish it still was :( Seeing people get wrecked was pretty freakin awesome though

This jump actually looks scary as shit. This is public? I would not wana take that jump deep. Can mammoth really beat a jump like that?

They have built bigger in the past, for sure.

Mammoth is definitely the most likely to have really giant jumps open to the public, however there are times when other resorts may build a really large jump that trumps it, and they don't build freakishly large shit all the time (maybe less than they used to)

I've been to mammoth from full time to a couple times a year for the last 12, and there has definitely been something 80+ feet every season.

So like I said, Mam is the most consistent but there can be bigger ones in other places at times. Mostly all in CA, OR and CO though.

I went there once a couple years ago. They had a dope settup for the video park. Booter was a lot of fun.



Their actual parks were fucking sketchy though.

the first year it was in the middle (3 or 4 seasons ago) they had the 3rd hit at 85-90 for a week or so...they changed it when it started getting warmer and speed wasn't there. last year i don't think they had anything over 75 (besides the MSP jump).

If BB is Big Boulder than no it was 70-80 and thats when Brogan and Jordan were both there and it barely ever got used.

Breck may not get the size jumps as some of the west cost mountains but thats mainly due the amount of snow CO gets compared to CA OR and WA, But the jumps at Breck boost you a lot higher than any of the Jumps I've hit in Oregon. Never been to Mammoth so I'm not sure how poppy their jumps are.

not the biggest, but biggest in PA. 80 to the sweet spot.

Mammoth's Unbound always has one huge jump, but i would say its between PCMR's Kings Crown, and Breck for the consistently biggest parks, they aren't just one big jumps, their three or 4 huge hits and some of the biggest rails. Kings crown kept the grand prix course up and then had a fucking massive hip at the end of the year last year. but the average jump is between 60-80, but its that big all season.

Yes, this was open to the public. Closed it down for Level 1 then reopened for the rest of the season. You can take this jump pretty deep.

Check how deep Parker takes it at 1:22

i've seen their biggest jump get up to around 80 a few years ago. i remember i was thinking about hitting it until i saw a snowboarder get wrecked and break his collarbone.

Yo need to have a Black Park pass to hit those lines. The first kicker on the right was massive tho. 80ft to knuckle but yeah those guys were landing deep.

mammoth had middle jump listed at 105 ft a season or two ago...

and yes, june used to be the spot for the retarded huge jumps on gunsmoke

it was something like 60, 75, 80ft jumps in a row - hasn't been like that in years though

Haha ya the booter there and everything for video park is wicked fun!
The regular park is wicked sketchy though. They had like a rainbow box up on like a 2 foot tall snow platform which was sketchy as fuck to hit to begin with, Then the way they built the jumps was really weird (at least 2 years ago when I went). I would always have a tough time judging speeds for everything there for some reason. Where at other mountains I can always judge stuff fine.

Yeah they had some dope stuff. A bowl at the bottom with box gap over a couch and a bunch of jibs. IT was a lot of fun plus you doesn't like to ride till 3-4am.



They had a battleship log in the woods. I think I hit the stupid thing 10 times, and only got within 5 feet of the end. The whole wood park was sketch though. There was like no snow and fucking jibs through the forest.


We went back in the am all hungover and hit some of the regular parks. Everything was pretty sketch for the most part.

Perfect north had a monster a few years ago for their annual pink flamingo camp. Keep in mind this resort:
1. Is in Indiana
2. It's vert is 400ft(pretty tiny)
3. According to wiki it gets only 23 inches of snowfall... Most is man made(also it was pretty damn hot those two days)
4. Those who had the guts too hit it had to almost bomb from the top of the resort.

Now that jump was only built for the camp but still pause at 29seconds and remember where this is at!

65 in Mammoth is the biggest I've hit, jesus it was scary. I've seen 80-90 foot jumps in Mammoth that were technically built on the backside for filming, but they don't really do anything to stop you hitting them. Not that I have, but I easily could have.

whistlers got some big ones, big step like 75 foot step over, kong pretty big but u need a black park pass to get in there they are like 25 bucks not really a big deal anyone can get one

i'm calling bullshit on that. I've hit a big jump at talisman "back in the day" and it wasn't close to 90ft, and it was pretty sketchy of a jump too. If they actually ever made a 90ft jump, I sure as hell wouldn't want to see anyone hit it. And no they don't have a park now - because they aren't even open anymore.

Kong is the jump i Hit. It was scary but well built.

So i guess the best jumps are colorado in competition season, or mammoth in the spring?

breck jumps get bigger after dew tour...more snow and they're also not required to make them hitable in any weather conditions (and by girl snowboarders).
