Haha. This tram video sounds like 10% of newschooler threads. And if you count the chauvinistic comments on here it would be more like 50%.
As a black man I can honestly say that this doesn't bother me. I find it easy to laugh at, and move past without giving her the power of changing my day.
I was in a crowded hotel elevator with my 7 year old son once when two people started some stupid racial rant. It was a teaching moment and opened a dialog about acceptance, tolerance, self-control, and stupidity. The fact that racism exists baffles me. It is something I will never truly understand, regardless of the reasons the ignorant attempt to provide.
I do, however, feel bad for the children in the video. And by children I mean the kid behind her that was obviously bothered (stood up at one point to TKO the chick), the boy on her lap, and any other young ears.
