Change icon wont work

When i try and chage it, it doesnt work. It shows up then i leave settings and just goes back to my current icon. its 48 x 48. What gives?

same here, I have a 50x50 image, and I have tried others as well, but they haven't been uploading for the last 3 months or so, it says that it "finished" but nothing actually changes.
