Hey everyone, new member here, Looking round the forums I see this "BUMP" function being used, just wondered what its for?

people comment "bump" on threads to get them to the top of the page so the are more often seen

ok so it bumps that users comment up to the top? or bumps the whole thread to the top of the forum?
