Replying to Does anyone else have broken marker griffons?...
Okay, obviously a ton of people do because they are made out of shitty plastic blah blah blah...
anyways, the hole that the screw screws in to on the heel piece (the same screw that holds down the brake to the heel piece) is completely stripped. This means that my brake can no longer be held in. Yes, technically i could ski without a brake, but on the griffons, the brake is attached to the black part that the boot sits on. without the whole black piece, there is an extra half inch of space between the ski and the heel piece, so the boot can not stay in place.
my issue is, marker fucking blows when it comes to warranties/ getting replacement parts. all that they say is go to your nearest dealer and have them get you the part. ive already tried that and they said that i need to contact the people who i bought it off of, which is an online site that i dont remember. so, is there any other way that i can get a warranty / replacement part?
or.....
are any of you kind fellows out there nice enough to give me the good heel piece to your broken set of griffons? i, of course, will pay shipping and throw 10 bucks your way as well for your kind gesture. also, your real life karma will sky rocket and i will be forever thankful.
(i can take some pictures to explain the problem of my bindings to clear things up if need be)
thanks!
