Don't quote me on this, but B as in B grade footage. And all the Grade A footage stuff is what makes the cut.

Think of A and B sides/singles.

I believe it's because it's not as good as the other shots. Hence everyone calling bullshit on the fact that it's B roll footage, considering those shots are hammers. Which just accents how good Stept's A roll is, other words the shots that made Weight.
