Line Anthems mounted back 3cm

Hey, I just bought some line Anthems and I'm having them mounted on the 29th. I ski mostly all mountain and a little bit of dry fluffy powder(Alaska's so dry) and i like to dabble in the park every once and a while. Right now I'm going to mount them -3cm, but i just wanted to see what people thought of that. I know a symmetrical ski should be center mounted but i want a little more stability, speed and float, i can sacrifice a little park performance.

Would say the rule of thumb is to mount symmetrical skis in the center. I have a pair of anthems and ski them centered and they are fine for most things, but anthems are by no means a powder ski and never should be considered as such (I've tried and it sucked!). I don't think mounting them back would help much in this area to be honest.

symmetrical skis are supposed to be mounted in the center.

You should've gotten a more all-mtn oriented ski if thats what you were looking for, the Anthems are a dedicated park ski. And yes, ^ they are definitely supposed to be mounted center, you'll probably be disappointed with the way they ski wherever you mount them if your looking for all mtn capability.

Why would you buy a symmetrical ski (anthem) to do all mountain skiing? Also, being symmetrical it should only be centre mounted. If not, your going to screw up the flex pattern.

I've heard all of these answers a lot and I thank you for replying. I was really looking for answers from experience. Has anyone tried mounting the anthems back even a litttle bit?

mount them center, I have the 2009s and they are great in the park of course and nice on trees and groomers.

They really do sound fun center mounted, seems like no one has tried mounting them back. I'm not wanting to turn into a pure all moutain/powder ski I'm kind of just experimenting. This thread was really to see if anyone else has experimented with these skis. I appreciate all the replies and my results will be shared.
