Tripod Question

Hi NS, I am thinking about purchasing a GorillaPod Magnetic. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with GorillaPods. I will not be doing hardcore filming, just fun stuff with my friends on my GoPro. Any help gets you +k for sure.

Specifically, I am curious to see how it holds up acting as a monopod for filming. Like if you straightened out the legs and made one leg, how steady is it for on hill follow cams?

soo you want to use it as a handle? why not just make yourself a handle?

what this guy said, you can make yourself a handle/monopd for less than 10 bucks if you get really cheap, as far as the gorilla tripod itself, my friend has one and he likes it, defiantly worth it for the price

Yes but if I wanted the GorillaPod and the handle, why wouldn't I just make the GorillaPod act as a handle? Do you think there is any way to mod it so it stays stiff?

i doubt it, really i would say just invest in a decent tripod for 40-50 bucks, even if it takes you some extra time to save up for it it'll still be worth it in the long run
