I have a pair of 2011 watch lifes. i love em to death, hands down my favorite ski. they are sidewall construction
im looking at picking up a pair of older watchlifes with cap construction. the older ones are also 90mm underfoot opposed to 100mm on the 2011s
my question is this. what differences will i notice between the two based on construction? ive had cap skis before and i dont recall anything odd about how the ski handled.
Anyone with experience with older capped surface brand skis voice will be greatly appreciated

overall flex pattern soft or stiff? i have 2 pairs of surface skis and both are pretty stiff, 2011 watchlifes and OG LL2s.
i would assume the entire watch series is pretty stiff. thanks for the input. i dont ski park, i just want em to rip around the groomers at mach10
